Most organized tour operators pick up at the resort, whilst some don’t and additional transportation charges may apply. Some of the tours below are arranged by Tour Operators, whilst others are arranged by combining transportation from Waidroka with the Cultural/Adventure Activity available.
Most Tours do not require a reservation in advance; however we highly recommend looking through your options as you arrive at Waidroka and start planning, so we can ensure to get you on the Adventure of your choice as not all tours operate daily. Just speak to our staff and make a reservation through reception.

This full day trip includes lunch and Waidroka Bay can arrange your round trip transportation for you. This excursion is a full on day of fun, adventure and culture and one of the most popular trips from Waidroka | NAIHEHE CAVE’ The name of the cave says it all… Naihehe means ‘a place to get lost’. Naihehe Cave was home to the ‘Sautabu’ people during Fiji’s tribal warfare days.A short ride up the famous Sigatoka River Valley for and then a light trek through farmland and forest brings you to the Naihehe Cave. Your adventure begins in the famous Sigatoka Valley (Salad Bowl of Fiji) for customary kava rituals and light trek through the farmland & forests to Naihehe Cave. Spectacular rock formations, beautiful ‘sacred’ ponds and the grand Cathedral Chamber, as well as the pagan tribal remnants including a cannibal oven! This tour can be done through a variety of smaller Tour Operators all starting in Sigatoka (ask for transport to Sigatoka at reception) and a interesting addition is also a combined off-road ‘Cave Safari’ arranged by Sigatoka River Safari in 4 x 4 vehicles. | A half-day eco/cultural adventure transports you deep into the heart & soul of Fiji, aboard our custom-built safari jet boats.Cruise your way up the magnificent Sigatoka River to visit authentic Fijian villages and experience a day in the life of the real ‘kaiviti’ (Fijian). ‘NAVUA RIVER AWESOME FOURSOME’ – approx. 9:00 AM to 17:00This trip offers a bit of everything in terms of combining adventure on the river, with river canoeing, magic waterfalls and Fijian Bilibili bamboo rafting, combined with a Fijian village visit and somewhat educational experience of village life.
